If you have to cancel your trip

If you are unable to travel due to illness, cancellation, restrictions placed on your home country or Belize by the government(s) or airlines, or if the resort is unable to open due to government restrictions, any paid bookings are eligible for an insurance claim through your policy with your insurance provider.

Late arrival or departure

Any conditions out of our control that delay your arrival or departure may add to your cost; all extra charges caused by delays (late luggage, extra flights, or catching up with a trip in progress) or any variations from the itinerary (early departure, evacuation) will be at the customer’s expense.

We will of course help you every step of the way, so please don’t worry.

Safety and Assumption of Risk

We have maintained an excellent safety record since 1977. However, our isolated island and outdoor water-based activities can involve risk.

Rest assured, we have very experienced staff trained in first aid, safety orientations for all activities and provide lifejackets, and always have no less than six guests to one guide.

For your peace of mind, we have a helicopter and boats standby for any evacuations due to bad weather, accidents, or illness that may occur.

Are there Covid restrictions to enter Belize?

As of 14th July 2022, the Belize government removed all Covid restrictions.

Make sure you know what days to book your air tickets

When booking your international flights, please note that you will fly to Belize City, there is only one airport for international flights and it is officially called Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (airport code BZE).

Please double check you have the correct dates of arrival and departure for your Slickrock trip (and extended stay, if staying longer in the country) to avoid fees to change your tickets.
